Terms of Use

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of SimplyEx ("Plugin"), provided by SimplyCivil ("we," "us," or "our") through the Autodesk App Store. By downloading, installing, or using the Plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. License Grant

Upon payment of the one-time fee, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin in accordance with these Terms and the Autodesk App Store terms of service.

3. Scope of License

The Plugin allows for direct export of AutoCAD data to Microsoft Excel through interop functionality. This license permits you to:

• Install and use the Plugin on any computer where you have a valid AutoCAD license
• Export data for both personal and commercial use
• Receive technical support and maintenance updates

4. Payment

• The Plugin requires a one-time payment through the Autodesk App Store
• All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law
• The price is as listed on the Autodesk App Store at the time of purchase

5. Technical Support and Updates

• We provide unlimited technical support for the Plugin
• Support is provided via email
• You are entitled to receive all future updates to the Plugin at no additional cost
• While we commit to providing support, we reserve the right to modify the Plugin's features or discontinue development

6. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Plugin
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding from the Plugin
• Use the Plugin in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the Plugin to third parties

7. Data and Privacy

• The Plugin does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data
• You are responsible for the security and backup of your own data
• We do not access or process any data exported through the Plugin

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLUGIN WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ITS OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLUGIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

10. Termination

• We may terminate your license if you fail to comply with these Terms
• Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Plugin and destroy all copies
• Sections relating to payment, liability, and data handling survive termination

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the Autodesk App Store or our website.

14. Severability
